- Overview
Alpure Peaks Snowcat and Backcountry Adventures is in the heart of the Mackenzie District, in South Canterbury. Alpure Peaks offer guided cat skiing and snowboarding tours to intermediate and advanced skiers and riders.
Alpure Peaks use a snowcat (a coverted snow groomer) fitted with a ten-seat custom-built cabin to transport skiers and snowboarders up the mountain. Cat skiing and cat boarding is brilliant fun - better than heli-skiing as you get more runs and better value for money.
