What is acceptable on wikiski?

All content relating to snow sports is welcome on wikiski.

What is unacceptable on wikiski?

Some basic rules on what can't be posted on wikiski.

(a) You may not use any obscene or offensive language. This includes ASCII swearing.

(b) You may not place on the site any material which is defamatory, abusive, racist, sexists, discriminatory or hateful of an individual or an organisation

(c) You may not place any material on the site which is obscene, vulgar or sexually-orientated.

(d) You may not place any material on the site which may encourage criminal conduct or which may give rise to civil liability, or which is otherwise unlawful.

(e) You may not place any material on this site belonging to any person other than yourself without the prior written consent of the owner of it.

Spam, advertising and links

We don't allow frickin spam, frickin advertising or frickin personal links on the wiki. Exceptions are links to your own website on the Contributers page. Also, if the information is of great benefit for the wikiski community it can be allowed, but only as long as it does not give the impression that wikiski is endorsing the company/product.

This wiki has a configuration setting to take care of wiki spam, based on regexp. If you see spam on page, please report it using the wikiski report form. If you experience difficulty with entering text it may also be a spam control configuration problem, so please report that too.

Please note that all contributions to the wikiski wiki are considered to be released under the Open Content License. If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly and redistributed at will, then don't submit it here.

You are also promising us that you have written the texts by yourself, copied it from a public domain or similar free resource. You are not allowed to submit copyrighted work to this wiki without permission from the original author!
