Location
Manning Park is located along the Hope-Princeton Highway. It is roughly 35 minutes away from Princeton, and 40 minutes away from Hope. The road conditions vary, but expect a trip of about 2-3 hours from Vancouver during winter.
Pros
If you ski at Manning Park, you will be able to enjoy short lift lines, good snow, a mountain that isn't crowded, and a decent variety of terrain.
Cons
Manning Park is a small resort. If you are at the beginner level, you will have less runs to choose from (however, most intermediate runs are not difficult). The lifts are along the lines of any non-express lift. Most of the black runs are all on a hill that has no direct lift access (you must hike from the peak on the Orange chair).

Ride Guide
Beginner Areas
There are not many begginer areas at Manning Park, but all of them are very good. The bunny hill provides two runs, a very easy begginer run, and a more advanced begginer run. There is ar ope tow and t-bar at the bunny hill. The Blue Chair has a begginer run, the Wagon Trail. This can be very good for people that are beyond the bunny hill, but can get crowded. The Horseshoe trail on the Orange Chair is the most advanced begginner run. It is very good, but the begginning is very flat, and can involve a lot of walking. There are various small runs on the orange chair for skiers of the begginner ability, but the Horseshoe is the main one.
Groomed Runs
There are several groomed runs at Manning Park. The grooming can be done really well, but there are times when the groomed areas anren't wide enough. Many runs have inconsistoncy of if they're groomed or not.
Off Piste
There are many bowls, steep shoots and gladed runs at Manning Park, for skiers with a wild side.
